Property Search

Find properties using multiple search methods including viewport, radius, polygon, and advanced filters.

Search Methods

Travo offers several ways to search for properties, each suited to different use cases.

Viewport Search

The most common search method. As you pan and zoom the map, properties within the visible area are automatically searched and displayed.

  • Results update automatically as you move the map
  • Property markers appear on the map
  • The sidebar shows a list of properties in the current view

Radius Search

Search for properties within a specific distance from a point:

  1. Click the radius search tool in the toolbar
  2. Click on the map to set the center point
  3. Drag to set the radius, or enter a specific distance
  4. Properties within the circle will be displayed

The sidebar will show the distance from the center point for each property.

Polygon Search

Draw a custom shape to search within a specific area:

  1. Click the polygon tool in the toolbar
  2. Click on the map to place vertices of your polygon
  3. Click the first point again (shown in green) to close the polygon
  4. Properties within the polygon will be displayed

Tips for drawing polygons:

  • You need at least 3 points to create a polygon
  • Use the undo button to remove the last point
  • Click Clear to start over

Property Filters

Use the Filters dropdown to narrow your search results. The active filter count is shown as a badge on the filter button.

General Filters

  • Property Type - Filter by Apartment, Campground, or Parcel
  • City/State - Limit results to specific locations
  • Data Completeness - Show only properties with complete or incomplete data
  • Viewed Status- Filter by properties you have or haven't viewed

Apartment Filters

  • Rent Range - Minimum and maximum monthly rent
  • Bedrooms - Number of bedrooms range
  • Square Footage - Unit size range
  • Pets - Filter by dog/cat friendly, weight limits
  • Parking - Type (covered, garage, surface), cost
  • Amenities - Pool, gym, in-unit washer/dryer, etc.

Campground Filters

  • Site Categories - RV, tent, cabin
  • Site Styles - Pull-through, back-in
  • RV Length - Maximum RV length supported
  • Electric Amps - 20, 30, or 50 amp service
  • Hookups - Water, sewer, WiFi
  • Rates - Nightly and monthly rate ranges
  • Policies - Pets allowed, fires allowed, year-round operation

Search Results

Search results appear in the sidebar Properties tab:

  • Property count is shown at the top
  • Properties are displayed as cards with name, address, type, and pricing
  • Click a property to select it and view details
  • Selected properties are highlighted on the map with an orange pin

Clearing Filters

To clear filters and see all properties:

  • Click "Clear" in the filter dropdown
  • Click the "Clear" button in the search results area
