Analysis Overview
Use AI-powered analysis to generate charts, tables, Excel files, and interactive maps from your real estate data.
What is Data Viz?
Data Viz is Travo's AI-powered data analysis tool. It allows you to ask questions about real estate data in natural language and receive answers in the form of visualizations, tables, and downloadable reports.
Think of it as having a data analyst who can:
- Search through thousands of properties instantly
- Create charts and graphs from your queries
- Generate Excel spreadsheets for further analysis
- Apply complex filters to the map
- Answer questions about market trends and demographics
Accessing Data Viz
You can access Data Viz in several ways:
- Main Data Viz Page- Click "Data Viz" in the main navigation for a full-screen analysis experience.
- From a Parcel- Click "Analyze" on any parcel to start analysis with that parcel's context.
- From a Property- Click "Analyze" on any property to analyze with that property's context.
- Map Sidebar - Use the Analysis tab in the map sidebar for quick queries.
Interface Layout
The Data Viz interface has two main areas:
- Left Panel - Conversation history and input area. Type your questions here and see the conversation thread.
- Right Panel - Visualizations display area. Charts, tables, maps, and other outputs appear here.
Conversation History
The left sidebar shows your conversation history:
- Previous conversations are saved automatically
- Click any conversation to load it
- Delete conversations you no longer need
- Start a new conversation with the + button
Conversations are organized by most recent first, and you can continue any previous conversation where you left off.
Capabilities
Data Viz can:
- Search properties and parcels with complex criteria
- Look up US Census demographic data
- Query HUD income limits
- Generate Plotly charts (bar, line, scatter, pie, etc.)
- Create sortable data tables
- Export data to Excel files
- Render interactive maps with filters
- Analyze uploaded files (images, PDFs, CSVs)
