Clarifying Questions

- Single Choice - Select one option from a list
- Multiple Choice - Select multiple options
- Text Input - Type a custom response
- Area Selection - Draw a polygon on the map to specify a geographic area
You can skip clarifying questions if you want the AI to use its best judgment, or skip all questions to proceed immediately.
Multi-Turn Conversations
Data Viz remembers the context of your conversation, so you can ask follow-up questions:
- You: "Show me apartments in Phoenix"
- AI: Shows a table of Phoenix apartments
- You: "Now filter to only pet-friendly ones"
- AI: Updates the table with pet-friendly filter
- You: "Create a chart showing rent distribution"
- AI: Generates a rent distribution chart for pet-friendly Phoenix apartments
Tips for Better Results
- Be specific- "apartments under $1,500 in Phoenix" is better than "cheap apartments"
- Specify the output format- Ask for "a chart", "a table", or "an Excel file" if you have a preference
- Use follow-ups - Build on previous results instead of starting over
- Be patient with complex queries - Some queries require multiple data lookups and may take a few seconds
- Use the area selector - For location-based queries, draw a polygon to be precise
What Data Viz Can't Do
Data Viz is designed for real estate data analysis. It cannot:
- Browse the internet or access external websites
- Access real-time market data from third-party sources
- Make predictions about future market conditions
- Provide legal or financial advice
- Modify your account or settings
Error Handling
If something goes wrong:
- No results found - Try broadening your search criteria
- Query too complex - Break your question into smaller parts
- Timeout - Try a simpler query or a smaller geographic area
